Infrarail and Railtex team strengthened

Infrarail and Railtex show organiser, Mack Brooks Exhibitions, has made two new appointments in a move to develop greater content and value through its major UK based rail industry trade shows. Richard Joslin joins the company as Exhibition Director, overseeing these two events in addition to the company's US portfolio, while Michael Wilton has been appointed Senior Sales Executive, working exclusively on Railtex and Infrarail.

Richard joins Mack Brooks following a successful career with Reed Exhibitions, the world's largest exhibition organiser. After graduating in International Business Administration, Richard joined Reed in a sales management capacity before relocating to the US to develop and integrate a new acquisition. There, he successfully developed the business before returning to the UK to manage a large international tradeshow based in Europe. Richard's last position with Reed involved looking at strategic development across the UK business.

Richard's success has been built on developing working relationships with industry leaders to deliver events that markets identify with and value.

Michael, also well experienced in delivering successful exhibitions, is a marketing graduate who has worked across several diverse industries including IT, semiconductors, packaging and natural healthcare with both SPG Media and Target Publishing prior to joining Mack Brooks. Most recently his work involved assisting in the launch and development of four tradeshows in the UK.

On joining, Joslin noted "These appointments are a significant commitment by Mack Brooks to develop ever-closer ties with the UK and international rail industry and represent a desire to deliver consistently increasing value for the sector".

Infrarail 2008 will be at Birmingham's NEC from 11 to 13 March 2008. For more details visit www.infrarail.com
