Career advice website for passenger transport industry

Sector skills council People 1st has launched a new website, ‘Careers that Move’, for people looking to work in passenger transport and travel.

The website includes an interactive Career Map showing the wide range of roles and career paths available in the industry and a Good Employer listing for businesses committed to training and developing staff.

‘Careers that Move’ has been developed in partnership with website UKSP. Project manager for UKSP, Jo Parker, said: “We really wanted to create a site that appeals to both young people and adults, but also wanted to make sure that employers had a strong say in the information on the website.

“We worked with employers from across the different industries to get their feedback during the site’s development. We have brought across some of UKSP’s popular tools, so that Careers that Move has the right mix of fun and informative features for job seekers.”
