Gatwick Express ranked best in country
Gatwick Express has been voted the number one train operating company (TOC) in the UK for a record fifth time over the past two and a half years.
The Independent National Passenger Survey (NPS) provides a network-wide picture of customers’ satisfaction with rail travel. Customer opinion of train services are collected twice a year from a representative sample of passenger journeys. Passenger’s overall satisfaction and satisfaction with 31 specific aspects of services are compared.
David Stretch, Managing Director of Gatwick Express, said, “To be ranked top in the customer satisfaction category continually for two and a half years is a triumph for our customer service ethos and true recognition for everyone in the Gatwick Express team.
“Whilst this survey measures us against other rail businesses, these results, with 93% satisfaction should be regarded as a phenomenal achievement regardless of business or industry.
“Considering the diversity of our customer base which ranges from international business travellers to local residents day-tripping in London and from commuters to holidaymakers this accomplishment is truly unique and exceptional.”
