NEC confirmed as Railtex 2015 venue

Railtex 2015 will take place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, from 12-14 May, organisers have confirmed.

During the 12th edition of the show a wide-ranging programme of activities including keynote speeches by leading figures shaping the future of rail in the UK, updates on major projects, industry seminars and discussion forums, will take place.

Heidi Cotsworth, exhibition manager, said: “There is no doubt that there are great business opportunities for companies targeting the UK rail market.

“And because Railtex is so well regarded throughout the industry, we strongly believe the show can help firms by offering an excellent environment in which they can introduce their products and services to the widest possible audience.”

The 2015 show aims to build on the success of the last exhibition in 2013. That event was visited by more than 8,200 industry professionals, an increase of 19% compared to 2011. It was also the biggest Railtex since 2007, with 434 organisations from 17 countries taking part.

Rail Technology Magazine’s full preview and show guide for Railtex’s sister show Infrarail 2014 will appear in the April/May 2014 edition. Get your copy at www.railtechnologymagazine.com/Subscribe
