Sir Peter Hendy confirmed for Infrarail keynote speech

With just three months to go until the UK’s railway infrastructure show, Infrarail, show organisers have confirmed that Network Rail chair, Sir Peter Hendy, will deliver a keynote speech on the second day of the event.

Running for three days from 12 to 14 April at ExCel London, the exhibition is scheduled around the same time of the much-anticipated Shaw report, expected to lead to the biggest shake-up of Network Rail in a decade.

But with the initial review published in November already suggesting that doors remain open for full privatisation of Network Rail, Hendy should have much to talk about.

Other keynote speakers are yet to be announced, but a number of leading rail organisations have already joined in.

Earlier this week, HS2 confirmed that it will be exhibiting at the show alongside other organisations such as Crossrail. Kirsten Whitehouse, exhibition manager, said HS2 will exhibit on the show floor while discussing project updates in the onsite seminar theatre.

RTM will be attending all three days of the event, with full coverage available across our social media accounts and website. There will be a full show preview in our special February/March Infrarail edition magazine, plus further coverage from the show in our subsequent April/May 2016 issue.

As always, the team will have a stand to engage with readers and advertisers.

This year, RTM is hosting and delivering The Platform sessions – lively and engaging discussions between high-profile leaders from the rail industry with lots of audience participation. A full list of topics and speakers is here.

Book your stand or confirm your presence at the show via the Infrarail website for the opportunity to join other industry experts.
