Recycled rail jobs
Despite recently announcing the loss of around 1800 rail
jobs, Network Rail changed its tune yesterday, announcing that it is now creating rail jobs.
The news came as they announced the construction of a recycling centre in Cambridgeshire, which will create 25
new ‘green’ rail jobs in the area. The recycling centre will
help Network Rail in its mission to “promote environmental diversity in and around the site”.
Of course getting an environmentally based rail career can
be very rewarding and encompasses many exciting areas such as geotechnical engineering and consultancy.
With that in mind, why not search under “environmental”
at rtmjobs.com and see what ‘green’ opportunities await.
