In the dark
The lack of financial detail on the new FGW deal, announced today, may be cause for concern. Despite transparency being a current Government buzzword, failure to publish the price of the franchise extension means it will be impossible to analyse value for money of the contract.
It certainly doesn’t give much confidence to the new franchising schedule – why can’t this information be made public?
