It’s the end of a busy Railtex, with new contacts, old friends and big business.
It seems to have been a real step change from the 2011 show, as exhibitors move towards smarter stands highlighting the latest technology with digital flair.
Another key change is the role of social media for the event, with a number of companies taking to Twitter to advertise product launches, and for visitors to keep up with the latest news and views from across Railtex. Thanks to everyone who interacted with us @rtmnews
It’s been a great conversation, and demonstrates the value new media can bring to the industry. It allows those who didn’t manage to make it down to join in – widening the range of participants and laying the basis for future collaboration.
