The Rail Sector Deal was launched in December 2018 and delivery activity is now underway. Within one of seven workstreams defined by the sector deal, Rail Forum Midlands will be leading the work on two ‘Midlands based pilots’.

The first of these initiatives is aimed at making apprenticeships more accessible to SMEs together with developing a more coordinated approach to school engagement across the region. The second pilot will link up SMEs to work collaboratively on specific issues and opportunities identified by key clients.

The session will provide an update on the work to date and explain how SMEs can keep in touch with developments and/or get involved.
