High scores for First GBRf in rail job survey

First Group, who run franchises such as First Scotrail and First Great Western, have released the results of one of their internal staff surveys, which name First GBRf as being the best employer.
The results from the rail job survey showed that eighty eight per cent of staff within First GBRf ‘fully supported the company’s values’ and that eighty six per cent were ‘proud to be part of the company’.
John Smith, managing director, First GBRf, said: “I recognise the importance of communicating with our staff in appropriate ways to make sure they feel valued.
“They are the reason we have been able to grow the company to what it is now and I don’t underestimate their worth in sustaining that growth over the coming years.”
Most impressively, the rail job survey showed that ninety one per cent of First GBRf employees were willing to do extra work to ensure that the company succeeded.
