I'm a commuter who uses Abellio Greater Anglia and the impact of faulty trains is causing more misery for passengers right across Essex and East Anglia, including where I live near Rayleigh.
I hate it when I hear "Oh we are sorry for the delays caused to your service, this is due to a faulty train or a broken down train". Those Class 321s and Class 317s are not far off 30 years old but, they are decaying very badly with broken seats, faulty doors, toilets not working properly, windows won't open as it's been locked or it's too stiff to open the windows.
I think we need brand new trains so that there won't be any more delays or faulty broken-down trains causing hours of disruptions across Essex and East Anglia to/from London Liverpool Street.
