The judicial review will not tell the government to change the route, but it will tell them to go back and think again about early decisions that have never been justified. A delay in the start of construction will be a small price to pay for getting the plan right. And a sensible route that doesn't force all HS trains through Old Oak Common can come into use earlier than the 10 years of construction planned for HS2 before it would be of any use at all. That ealier use will be achieved by incremental construction with the links to the existing network that HS2 so blatantly lacks.

There is too much money at stake here. Corrupt politicians will all be part of this money wasting project. Who will be the next Ernest Marples.
