Why not extend the East London Line to Crystal Palace and West Croydon. Aswell Night Overground to be added to the North London Line between Stratford-Willesden Junction and Richmond. West London Line between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction and South London Line between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction. And future Night Overground services to be introduced on the Gospel Oak-Barking, Euston-Watford Junction and Liverpool Street-Cheshunt, Chingford and Enfield Town Lea Valley lines.

I have a feeling that extending the Night Overground further would be problematical as it will be more in Nwtwork Rail, freight and Southern territory. The Overground running to Camden Road or even Willesde would tie it all together, but might be technically ir politically difficult.

Why not have night services all over the country Andrew? I hear Aberystwyth is crying out for some.

Not just night service to be introduced on the London Overground. But also the Class 710’s Aventra that are currently being manufactured at Bombardier Transportation Derby plant will soon enter service hopefully in the summer this year as these new Class 710 units will be replacing the Class 172’s DMU’s on the Gospel Oak-Barking that will be cascaded to WM Trains. And the Class 315’s and Class 317’s EMU’s on the Lea Valley metro services and Romford-Upminster Line shuttle service. But London Overground might keep 1 Class 315 train for the Romford-Upminster shuttle. And also to transfer the Class 378’s used on the Euston-Watford DC Line to operate on the North London Line and East London Line to services add more capacity during busier times. It does look like this year will have night services to operate on some parts of the London Underground lines and on the London Overground.

Plus of course we are eagerly anticipating the introduction of bi-modal Turbo-charged Pacers on the Sudbury and Southminster branches allowing 24hr operations for livestock transfers! (and A Gwilt)
