Interfleet recruits two new senior consultants
Interfleet Technology has added two experienced recruits to its already highly-regarded team in London.
Senior consultant Adam Parker, a health, safety and environment specialist, joins from Cubic Transportation Systems, while electrical engineer Andrew Armstrong is recruited from Bombardier Transportation.
Jonathan Wragg, Interfleet UK regional director, commented: “We are constantly adding to our team, ensuring that our customers have access to a wide range of professionals and experts in differing fields. We welcome both Andrew and Adam to Interfleet, and I am confident they will become invaluable members of an already strong team of people.”
Adam has more than 25 years of experience in the rail industry, spending 14 years in safety-related roles. For the past eight years he has specialised in high-level health and safety management.
At Cubic, Adam was initially employed as a safety engineer and planning supervisor/CDM Coordinator on the TfL Prestige Project that also covered DLR and Croydon Tramlink. After five months, he was promoted to safety manager and then further promoted to HSE Manager as recognition of achievements, working on a range of projects in excess of £90 million a year in principal contractor and CDM co-ordinator and designer roles.
Adam was also responsible for the management of the safety group function for all Cubic’s UK and European-based operations.
Andrew is a highly-experienced senior line manager and electrical engineer, whose knowledge is based upon 11 years in field and customer engineering support and commissioning activities for a leading global company.
At Bombardier, Andrew became a field service manager, assuming responsibility for the planning, launch and change control management of a web-based vehicle data analysing system that provides users and external customers with effective product delivery with minimal down time.
