Betacable Management Systems & Cablecraft team up

Betacable Management Systems has announced the approval of a new agreement with Cablecraft, who will be a partner distributor in the rail industry. Together they will be heavily involved in the distribution of a number of products including the range of Betaduct Noryl LFH ducting and the recently approved Interflex Nylofix IRT conduit and fittings. Both products are approved by Tubelines to the London Underground engineering standard – LUL 2-01001 – 002 December 2003 - section 12.

Don Kincaid, Betacable’s sales & marketing director and Chris Jenart, Cablecraft’s managing director, are both very positive that the newly approved IRT product will complement the already successful Noryl LFH used in the rail industry by TLCs, REB’s, and signal frame manufacturers making a significant mark as innovative and fit for purpose.

Interflex, whose products Betacable are the sole importers of into the UK, have spent the last 12 months researching, developing, testing and approving the new range of IRT conduit. This includes a comprehensive range of either modified polyamid metric thread or metal metric thread fittings in sizes and styles from ND7MM to ND48MM, which are rated up to IP69 as standard. Cablecraft are now stocking these products.

With their special relationship and a first class specialist distributor in Cablecraft, the two manufacturers – Betacable ducting and Interflex conduit - are confident that together they will successfully support the rail industry in its requirements for cable management products.
