East Coast makes senior appointment to jobs in rail
East Coast has announced that it has made two senior appointments to its Customer Services department.
Neil Clucas has joined the government-backed train operator as Director of Customer Services while Mark Tarry has been appointed Head of On-Board Services, reporting directly to Neil.
East Coast Managing Director Karen Boswell said: “These appointments are great news for our business at a crucial time as we prepare to launch a new First Class on-board offer, which will include complimentary food and drinks served to customers at their seats, and the biggest timetable change in 20 years.
“The Eureka! timetable, which will provide 20 more services, more than three million additional seats and faster typical journeys between many destinations on our route, will be launched next May. Both give us a good opportunity to grow the railway and showcase our customer service.”
