Free workshop for responsible businesses
Rail companies looking to highlight their responsible business credentials are signing up for a free workshop helping them with the application process.
The Responsible Business Awards workshop for the transport sector will explain the benefits of entering and give an overview of the awards, plus practical exercises on writing a good entry, top tips on measuring impact, and a Q&A with Fujitsu and NATS – award winners for 2015. The workshop will also offer the opportunity for some peer networking within the transport sector.
Chris Leech from Business in the Community said: “With ever-increasing demands on the transport sector to undergo expansion, the spotlight is firmly on how this sector is balancing financial return with social and environmental impact.”
The workshop starts at 9.30am on Friday, 20 November at Fujitsu’s offices at 22 Baker Street, London.
Spaces are free but limited. Sign up here.
Business in the Community is one of The Prince’s Charities, a group of not-for-profit organisations of which The Prince of Wales is President. He said: “These are hugely important awards in raising awareness about the extraordinary amount of work business does every day”.
