ORR report into May timetable chaos to be published later this month

The much-awaited report led by Office of Rail and Road (ORR) chair Professor Stephen Glaister into the May timetable disruption will be released on 20 September.

Prof Glaister was chosen by Chris Grayling to lead the inquiry into the introduction of new timetables on 20 May that was marred by cancellations, delays, and frustration from passengers across the country.

Today, the ORR announced that the inquiry led by Prof Glaister will be published at 7am on Thursday 20 September.

Last month it was announced that former London City Airport chief executive Declan Collier will replace Prof Glaister, who will stand down as chair at the end of the year after three years in the role.
