Craig King appointed Catalis technical Director

Craig King has been appointed technical director of Catalis Training. He will join the Catalis board and has responsibilities for the rail division specialising in signalling and telecommunications engineering.

After a long and varied career in many of the technical areas within S&T engineering, Craig joined the company initially in a training delivery role and then progressed through management roles.

Craig joined BR as a trainee technician and held various operational engineering roles in Scotland before moving to York and the Eastern Region of BR as an S&T trainer. He subsequently became chief instructor at Catalis Training in Derby, S&T Division.

This recent appointment brings a wealth of rail industry and technical/operational expertise to the Catalis board. Craig is a registered professional engineer holding degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Technology Education.

Craig’s excellent management skills and expertise in all areas of the business will help Catalis continue to provide rail training as the leading expert within the industry.
