Victoria Underground station gets new improved ticket office
Once services return to normal on London Underground, passengers will be able to benefit from the new ticket office facilties at Victoria Underground station.
This is ironic, because the industrial action is partly to do with feared ticket office closures – and any subsequent rail job losses which the unions fear will follow.
John Doyle, the Victoria line Manager, said: “The new ticketing facilities will reduce journey times by allowing customers to complete their purchases with minimal delay.
“Passengers will be able to buy the full range of Underground tickets using cash or cards. The funding is in place for the station’s main upgrade work beginning next summer which is part of TfL’s Investment Programme.”
