TfL issues £4.8m flooring contract for Piccadilly Line rolling stock

Transport for London (TfL) has launched a contract to replace rolling stock parts on the London Underground Piccadilly Line.

The notice is for a £4.8m goods and services contract for the supply of new saloon car and cab flooring on the 1973TS fleet of trains.

The contract will run for 36 months, with the possibility of a 12-month extension, and is open for tenders and requests to participate until 13 January.

Earlier this month, TfL also said it was seeking bidders for a £3.6m contract to overhaul the brake parts and vertical suspension damper mounting brackets for London Underground’s Piccadilly Line rolling stock.
