Deadline for UKRIA 2018 entries extended by two weeks

UKIRA, the rail industry’s biggest and most prestigious awards event hosted by RTM, has officially extended the deadline for entries by an extra two weeks.

Due to unprecedented high levels of demand, the cut-off has been moved from today to 9 October, giving entrants all the extra time they need to sign off on applications and get all their required information in.

Every year the number of applications UKRIA receives exceeds all expectations, and 2017 been no different.

There are 24 wide-ranging categories that recognise the amazing achievements of organisations across the sector, with accolades ranging from collaborative working and design innovation to electrification and recruitment. Interested individuals, companies, joint ventures and alliances are encouraged to apply to more than one category.

The award winners will be decided by UKRIA’s distinguished panel of judges from across the industry, including, but not limited to, Network Rail CEO Sir Peter Hendy, ORR boss Joanna Whittington, chief inspector of railways Ian Prosser and Amanda White, head of rail at TfGM.

Winning a UKRIA award is not just a proud moment for a rail professional organisation, but a sure way to show off the excellent work being delivered across the board to innovate and improve the state of the country’s rail network.

So what are you waiting for? Click here to submit your application for UKRIA 2018!

The countdown is on to get your entries in for this year’s UKRIA. Closing date is 9 October. ENTER NOW!
