PPM at 87.3%

National train performance is at 87.3% for period 11, new figures show. This is down from 88.2% for period 10.

Network Rail data from 6 January – 2 February found that the moving annual average (MAA) is now at 91.1%.

The best performing franchise was c2c, with PPM of 95.9% and a MAA of 97.4%. East Coast scored the lowest PPM at 71.4%, and Virgin has the lowest MAA at 84/7%.

Many routes had been affected by severe weather, Network Rail commented.
