TES becomes full member of RSSB

TES Ltd has successfully attained full membership of the Rail Safety and Systems Board (RSSB).

John Abbott, RSSB external engagement director, and his colleagues Mike Carr and Alan Tordoff visited TES headquarters in Colchester to induct TES into membership and to introduce the TES management team to the broad range of services that RSSB provides.

Tony Evans, managing director of TES, said: “We have been the principal provider of possession management services to GB railways for some years and our business has diversified and now offers the full range of rail engineering activities.

“Safety performance and continuous enhancement of our safety management system is our primary objective. Access to the unparalleled skills, knowledge and expertise that RSSB provides to its members will enable us to draw on industry leading advice, guidance and support in our drive to further enhance our safety performance.

“We consider membership of RSSB to be a vital step in the continuing development of our business.”

In welcoming TES to full membership of RSSB, Abbott said: "We are pleased to welcome TES 2000 as a voluntary supplier member of RSSB as a demonstration of their positive commitment to improvement.

“We look forward to working in partnership with them to ensure that they obtain tangible benefits through their membership as well as making an input to our cross-industry work to improve safety and efficiency of the railway system.”
