London calling: Develop Training & Deltone join forces

Develop Training Limited have announced their arrival in London after joining forces with Deltone Training Consultants to expand their current training portfolio.

Operating from a conveniently located training centre in north east London, the two companies will work in unison to deliver underground and overground rail training aimed at contractors working within the region.

Deltone Training have traditionally carried out London Underground fire and entry permit courses for contractors working on the London Underground Line confines and have teamed up with Develop due to their vast knowledge of Network Rail training throughout the UK to bring the two disciplines together.

By combining the skills of both companies and creating an area of synergy within the London rail training arena, both companies are able to train people in various track skills above and below ground level using the knowledge afforded by both companies on a six mile stretch of track available locally.

The training centre, based in South Woodford, can also provide NVQ training and assessments on track safety, permanent way and rail specific health and safety training so that their customers can prove competence on skilling their work force for that competitive edge.

Small plant training can also be delivered that can run concurrently with existing training programmes or they can be delivered separately, which is achievable through a time extension or an on-site assessment prior or post to final qualification.

Courses can be offered across a wide range of plant disciplines from larger items such as EGO5 to basic hand tools. The cost for training can be greatly reduced via the vocational route in which they can fund/facilitate.

With their quality systems, straightforward pricing structure and payment system, Develop provides the easiest route to meet your rail training requirements either to Network Rail or London Underground's exacting standards. As an added benefit, Develop can also offer a tracking service which includes notifications for the retraining of employees within a specified timescale which they feel is the complete package to meet the ever demanding training needs of today.
