ScotRail Managing Director Joanne Maguire has announced the interim appointment of Mr. David Ross as part of the company’s continued commitment to delivering a safe, reliable, and environmentally sustainable railway.
Mr. Ross, who joined ScotRail in 2017, currently serves as Communications Director and is the longest-serving member of the current Executive Team. In his new interim role, he will take on leadership responsibility for the majority of ScotRail’s workforce. This includes frontline teams such as drivers, conductors, ticket examiners, and station staff, as well as several key head office departments, including Human Resources, Commercial, Communications, and Safety & Sustainability.
A successor for the role of Communications Director will be announced in due course.
