From Alstom to Hitachi: Isabel Vollers' Bold Move Shakes Up Germany’s Rail Industry!

Isabel Vollers has taken over as new Managing Director and Country Director at Hitachi Rail in Germany.

She succeeds Markus Fritz, who will take over a new role within Hitachi Group as Vice President Markets Germany and Global Account Manager Deutsche Bahn for all Hitachi business units.

Most recently, Isabel Vollers was responsible for Alstom's Mainline Wayside & Infrastructure business in the DACH region. Thanks to her many years of management experience at international railway companies such as Alstom and Bombardier, she has proven expertise in managing complex railway projects. Isabel Vollers has taken on both operational and strategic management roles in pan-European markets – from the DACH region to Scandinavia, Finland, and the Baltic states.

Isobel said “Reliable project delivery, business continuity, a clear focus on growth in our market, together with reliability for all our internal and external stakeholders will be my top priorities for Germany”.
