New strategic appointment at Belvoir Rail

Rolling stock parts manufacturer, Belvoir Rail has announced the appointment of Mike Harmer as its new Chief of Strategic Operations.

Harmer is an industry veteran, with over three decades in the sector, and joins from transport company, Schaltbrau Transportation.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the growth strategy of the company, leveraging his expertise and understanding of the rail market to drive new business opportunities, foster customer partnerships, and advance our expansion in the UK rail market.

Harmer has a strong history of improving on-train performance and passenger comfort, and has experience of collaborating with train leasing companies, operators and original equipment manufacturers alongside leading on successful installations of many rolling stock systems and parts.
