SIFER 2021: Let’s get back on track

Organised at the heart of the leading rail region in France (the Hauts-de-France regions employs 1/3 of France’s total rail employees and generates 1/4 of the national rail turnover) – a country ranked 3rd in the world for its railway industry – SIFER is committed to playing a key part in helping the sector get back on track to recover from the pandemic.

This can partly be achieved thanks to the unconditional support of its official show partners: the Hauts-de-France Region, SNCF Réseau, IRT Railenium, the FIF, i-Trans, ERA, UNIFE.

The new hybrid format will enable attendees to take part onsite or digitally, without ever compromising on the event’s fundamentals: offering all exhibitors and visitors a platform to meet, exchange and conduct business.

As the main meeting point for the railway industry in France, SIFER brings together all key players of the sector every two years in Lille: major contractors, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, operators and transport management authorities.

For 3 days, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the latest innovations and stay up to date on ongoing challenges as well as current and future trends through its vast conference programme.

More than a quarter of the exhibition space is dedicated to the infrastructure sector. In partnership with ETF, sections of track are laid in the hall to allow suppliers of rail vehicles and track equipment to display their products so that visitors can get a first-hand view of how the displayed products sit, work and look on track as they would in the field.

Further information about the show or on how to register is available here.
