PPM nudges up to 91.4% for period 13

National train performance for period 13 is at 91.4%, the latest figures show. The data covers the period from March 3 – March 31 and compares to 93.4% for the same period last year.

The Moving Annual Average (MAA) is now at 90.9%. PPM for period 12 was at 91%, and MAA was at 91.1%.

The best performing TOC is still c2c, with PPM of 97.2% and MAA of 97.5%. East Coast had the lowest PPM at 82.8% and Virgin has the lowest MAA at 83.6%.

Services on the East Coast Main Line were impacted by a number of infrastructure faults over the period including an overhead line problem near Newark, engineering problems near Darlington and Alexandra Palace and a road traffic accident affecting the railway near Doncaster, Network Rail stated.
