Amey new Dublin Office

Amey Strengthens Irish Presence with New Dublin Office

Amey has marked a major milestone in its growth strategy by opening a new office in Dublin, reinforcing its commitment to Ireland’s infrastructure sector. The move underlines Amey’s ambition to support national and regional priorities while creating opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

The new office, located in The Freight Building in Dublin’s Docklands, was officially inaugurated by Jack Chambers, Minister for Public Expenditure, alongside senior government representatives and Amey executives. Designed as a modern, flexible workspace, the facility includes contemporary meeting and event spaces, positioning Amey at the heart of the city’s infrastructure network. The company plans to grow its local workforce to 200 employees within three years.

Andy Milner, Amey CEO, said:

“The opening of our new Dublin office is an important milestone as we strengthen our presence in Ireland and demonstrate our long-term commitment to the Irish market.”

” This investment shows our intention to collaborate closely with partners at both the national and local levels to deliver resilient and adaptable infrastructure that supports connectivity, economic development, and sustainable growth. It also provides us with an exciting platform for future expansion, enabling us to deepen relationships with clients, grow our teams locally, and bring our international expertise to projects that deliver long-term value for communities across Ireland.”

Amey’s expansion builds on strong partnerships with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and Iarnród Éireann through key frameworks that enhance strategic road and rail networks. These projects focus on improving safety, resilience, and connectivity for communities across Ireland. Alongside infrastructure delivery, Amey is committed to creating social and economic value by increasing apprenticeships, graduate roles, and veteran recruitment in the region.

Jack Chambers, Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Services, Reform and Digitalisation, said:

“By growing its presence here, Amey is aligned to Government commitments for the years ahead– contributing not only to our national infrastructure priorities, but also to the wider economy, fostering innovation and sustainable development. This will support our ambitions for Ireland to remain competitive on the global stage.”

Reflecting Amey’s sustainability goals, the Dublin office incorporates measures to minimise environmental impact. Water-efficient fixtures cut consumption by up to 40% compared with baseline standards, while energy-efficient lighting and smart building controls support lower-carbon operations. The location also promotes active travel and public transport access, reducing reliance on vehicles and encouraging healthier lifestyles in line with LEED and WELL objectives.

Amey’s decision to expand in Dublin signals confidence in Ireland’s infrastructure sector and its skilled workforce. This investment will create high-quality jobs and long-term career opportunities, reinforcing Amey’s role as a trusted partner in delivering resilient, sustainable infrastructure.
