Maryland station benefits from Greater Anglia investment
Greater Anglia has invested half a million pounds into Maryland station, to provide a clearer and more pleasant environment.
Contractor Spence Refit Ltd has replaced canopies on station platforms, repaired the guttering and redecorated the station.
Colin MacConnachie, Greater Anglia’s metro area manager, said: “This significant investment has made a real difference and is key to improving the customer experience at Maryland. I’m delighted that Maryland station is one of the first stations to benefit from these efforts.”
Maryland station is in the London Borough of Newham and is situated on the Liverpool Street to Shenfield route, served by Greater Anglia’s Metro services, which run at a 10 minute frequency of service for most of the day.
